This is a poster I made for my digital illustration class. There a a few problems I still need to fix, but I think it came out alright. This isn't my typical style, working with shapes more than detail, but it was pretty fun to do. Happy Halloween!
Wheel Thrown Red Art Clay, Cone 4 Majolica and Mason Stain
Here is one of the first bowls I have ever made on the wheel. The glazing isn't picture perfect but I do enjoy seeing the colors and contrast of the patterns come out so vividly. That only means that I must keep trying!
Character Sketch and Final of a Book Spread Illustration.
This is my own adaptation of the classic fairytale Rapunzel. My story goes like this: Rapunzel and her parents used to be mermaids. She of course was given up to Mother Gothel when she was a baby. When she grows older and realizes Gothel is not her mother, she turns Rapunzel into a human so she cannot look for her parents or seek revenge upon her. Still determined, she becomes a pirate and lives on her ship, searching the seas every day.
The rest of my story is a secret. (Until I make this into a full-time book that is (; )
