Made in New Jersey

This is a series of illustrated package designs I made for a fictional brewery based in my hometown of Jackson, NJ.  Each type/flavor of ale is based on a musician/band from the great Garden State. Each illustration is watercolor and ink, with some digital overlay.

This is the Stone Pilsner, based on Bruce Springsteen and Asbury, NJ.

This is Starswinger Lager, based on Frank Sinatra and Hoboken, NJ.

This is Annie's Ale, based on Streetlight Manifesto and New Brunswick, NJ.

A Tenor Ukulele

About 10" x 12"
Gloss enamel on a Ukulele

My boyfriend wanted a green ukulele for his birthday. The only colored ones I could find were soprano ukuleles, which he already has. So I bought this tenor ukulele and made it green, among other things.

Music by Carbon.

Here are a few charcoal pieces I did a while ago. They are still some of my favorites.

Fancy a Piece of Cake?

These here are a few pieces from a fancy dessert set I made: All together there are 4 coffee mugs with 4 cake plates, 2 candlestick holders, 1 vase and a three-part revolving cake stand.

All are made of stoneware, oxidation fired to cone 6.

Fluffly things

"Feather Island"
22" x 12" Pen and photoshop

This is another assignment of mine- a spread for a fictional excerpt about a strange island inhabited only by women who are born from bird eggs and grow feathers for hair. Their queen is born from a phoenix egg of course, so she can keep being reborn as a queen forever. Not completely happy with how the pen merges with the digital style, but I like the feel of it so far.
