Animal Series

Here is part of a new series I am creating, rather slowly, that includes animals symbolizing different virtues and vices, drawn in a stylized/heraldic style.

The Lion of August
Ok, I draw lions a lot, but this guy is... well he's my own personal character.  He is the lion of August, and I usually use him to symbolize my own inner virtues/ideals. His incredible courage and pride make him a formidable foe, but sometimes become his own hamartia. He has a fearsome voice and sharp peridot eyes that can see through false truths. His mane is as golden as his heart, but you may find there are two tails (and tales) to every lion of August, which are double edged and dangerous.

And to every August there is a September.

The Wolf of Truth:

The Wolf of Truth is one of the lion's most powerful allies, and seemingly balances his pride with cold reality.  However, what the wolf can turn into is the lion's greatest enemy, and greatest fear.

Wolf of the Autumnal

When the Shade of the Autumnal gets into the wolf of Truth (Haven't explained that yet, but let's just say, evil) He becomes this guy: The two-tongued shadow wolf that is the lion's greatest foe. One tongue is truth, and one tongue is spite... But you can never tell the diference.  And together with corruption he spits forever the venom of lies, doubt and regret.
